YOUR FIRST VISIT
What to Expect
No Referral Required:
New patients do not require a referral and can book directly through the clinic.
No need to worry about delayed appointments or long waiting times as most new patients can be booked within the fortnight. Initial consultations run for approximately 30 minutes, which allows for a thorough and detailed consultation.
What to Bring:
We recommend bringing any relevant information with you to your first appointment including current medications, health history and any relevant pathology reports.
What are the Treatments?
All oral and topical products used in the clinic are based on a combination of natural and nature-identical ingredients and are free from steroids and antibiotics.
What are the Likely Outcomes?
Our evidence-based treatment protocols are designed to put chronic skin conditions into remission. Most patients notice an improvement in their symptoms within the first 7-14 days and experience a significant improvement of the skin within 12 weeks. All patients are provided with the tools to help identify and manage their triggers effectively so that they keep their skin lesion free.
About the Practitioners
In addition to their qualications, each practitioner has been trained to follow Prof Tirant’s Protocols in the treatment of various skin conditions, which have been independently evaluated in several international studies and are also followed with great success in Dermatology Clinics in Vietnam and Europe.
Ask us about our Skype consultation service. We provide Skype consultation services for Interstate and International patients.
An initial consultation with one of our qualified practitioners includes a detailed and thorough skin health analysis, clinical examination, dietary, lifestyle and medical history and referrals for testing as required. A personalised treatment plan will be provided including dietary and lifestyle advice, as well as a customised topical and/or oral prescription to suit your specific condition.
A review consultation allows both the practitioner and the patient to review the treatment progress and adjust any medications as required. This appointment also includes a clinical examination, as well as report analysis as required. A review consultation also provides the patient with access to a 6-month script for re-ordering purposes. Review consultations can be utilised by patients who have consulted within a 5-year period. If it has been longer than this time, patients will require an extended consultation to allow enough time for a thorough review.
This extended appointment is required if it has been longer than 5 years since your last appointment. The patient receives a thorough analysis and revised treatment protocol as with an initial consultation
A ‘short consultation’ is a short phone consult that can reinstate access to your previous treatments, if it is still deemed suitable by your practitioner. This service is available to those patients who have their condition relatively under control and have not had any changes in the presentation and location of their condition, their general health, or current medications. Patients who have had a review consultation within the last 3 years are able to utilise the Short Consultation.
